Whipping Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    3 c. sifted granulated sugar
    6 eggs
    1/2 pt. whipping cream (do not whip)
    3 c. sifted plain flour
    1/2 c. pecans (optional)
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at
    a
    time.
    Add whipping cream and flour, alternating.
    Add
    nuts and vanilla. Bake in a greased, floured tube pan for 1 hour
    and 15 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Do not open oven during first hour.
