Yellow Tomato Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. small yellow tomatoes
    1 lemon, cut in slices
    1/4 lb. candied ginger, chopped, or 1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    5 c. sugar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Wash tomatoes and remove stems, but do not peel or slice. Combine all ingredients and water; bring to a boil and then simmer 2 hours or until thick.
    Pour into hot sterilized jars.
    Process in hot water bath for 20 minutes.
    Makes 3 pints.
