Rice Cabbage Goulash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tsp. shortening
3/4 lb. ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. minced onion
3/4 c. tomato paste (6 oz. can)
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 c. water
3/4 c. uncooked rice
4 c. shredded cabbage
Preparation

Heat shortening in a large skillet.
Add meat, stirring occasionally, and brown until crumbly.
Add garlic and onion and cook 5 minutes more, stirring frequently to prevent over-browning.
