Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed fine
2 eggs
1 c. applesauce
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. clove
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts
1 c. raisins

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Sift together flour, soda, clove, cinnamon, allspice and salt; set aside.
Cream butter; add sugars and mix well.
Add eggs, applesauce and buttermilk and mix well. Add dry ingredients and mix well; stir in nuts and raisins and mix well.
Bake for 1 hour.
