Peanut Brittle Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo
    1/2 c. cold water
    pinch of salt
    4 c. shelled raw peanuts
    2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook together in an iron skillet the sugar, water, Karo, peanuts and salt.
    Cook until peanuts start popping big.
    Remove from heat and add 2 teaspoons soda.
    Beat good and pour into 3 tin plates which have been buttered.
    When cool, bend plate to break the candy.
