Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add syrup, eggs, salt and vanilla; mix thoroughly.
    Add pecans.
    Pour into unbaked 9 or 10-inch pie shell.
    Bake for 5 minutes at 450\u00b0, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake until firm (about 40 minutes).
