Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cube butter
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar or less
    2 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. milk
    3 to 4 peaches
Preparation
    Put all ingredients (except peaches) in pan.
    Cook on medium heat; stir until smooth.
    Batter will be thin.
    Pour into a 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Put peaches on top of batter.
    Sprinkle with brown sugar; top with some nutmeg.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes. Pretty good made with blackberries, also!
