Aunt Elaine'S Cream Cheese Kiefles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 lb. cream cheese
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    powdered sugar
    fillings (use prepared fruit or nut fillings)
Preparation
    Cream butter and cream cheese together.
    Add flour and salt and blend well.
    Form into 3 balls; chill several hours.
    Roll thin using lots of powdered sugar (not flour) over rolling surface.
    Cut into 3-inch squares.
    Fill.
    Do not overfill; filling will bake out.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Cool on rack.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
