Boiled Custard(Cooking Time: 20 Minutes. Yield: 5 To 6 Cups) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    3 to 4 eggs, beaten
    1 qt. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. almond extract (optional)
    nutmeg (optional)
Preparation
    In a 2-quart casserole dish, put 1 cup of applesauce; sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, then crumble bread over top of that.
    Use another cup of applesauce; repeat sugar, spice and bread.
    Dot top with plenty of butter; bake in 375\u00b0 oven and brown for about 20 minutes.
