Barbecued Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    meaty spareribs, cut apart in sections
    onions
    1/2 c. catsup
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 c. water
    1/2 tsp. mustard
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Place spareribs in bottom of heavy roaster.
    Cover with layer of sliced onion.
    Mix rest of ingredients to make barbecue sauce. Pour over top.
    Repeat layers.
    Cover and bake at 325\u00b0 until meat is tender, about 2 to 2 1/2 hours according to thickness of spareribs.
    Remove to platter and serve while hot.
