Creamed Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 ears fresh corn
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. bacon grease (optional)
Preparation
    Remove shucks and silk from corn. Wash thoroughly and cut corn off cobs. Place in saucepan with water. Season to suit your taste. (May use 2 tablespoons bacon grease.) Bring to a boil and simmer 15 minutes on low heat. Add margarine. Combine flour and cold milk until smooth; stir in with corn. Cook another 5 or 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
