Pickle Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 small cabbage
2 large onions
1 qt. tomatoes
1 stalk celery
1 qt. water, mixed with 1/2 c. salt
3 c. vinegar
2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. turmeric
Preparation

Chop first 4 ingredients.
Combine and soak overnight in water and salt mixture.
Drain, then add vinegar, brown sugar, mustard and turmeric.
Cook slowly 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
