Dumplings(For Chicken) - cooking recipe

2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Roll out very thin, cut 1 1/2 inch squares.
Prick with fork. Drop
in boiling broth.
Simmer for 12 minutes.
Do not remove lid from pot until done, they will fall.
