Cowboy Steak 'N Veggie Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pound boneless beef sirloin steak (1 inch thick)
    1 tsp. dried basil leaves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 garlic cloves, crushed
    1 Tbsp. oil
    2 (14 1/2 oz) cans ready to serve beef broth
    1 16 oz. jar chunky-style salsa or picante
    1 pound package frozen green beans, potatoes, onions and red peppers (I use fresh)
    1 (15.5 oz) can great northern beans, drained and rinsed
    1 cup torn fresh spinach
Preparation
    Cut beef into 1/4 inch thick strips, cut each strip into pieces.
    In medium bowl combine beef, basil, pepper, garlic and oil.
    Toss to coat.
