Cage Bach(Welsh Cakes) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. sultanas (raisins)
    pinch of cinnamon
    1 large egg, beaten
Preparation
    Rub flour, butter and sugar to fine crumbs.
    Add spice.
    Make a well in the center, then add egg and fruit.
    Mix to a firm dough. Roll out to 1/4-inch thick and cut into rounds. Cook on a heated griddle or heavy frying pan until brown on both sides. Cool and spread with butter before eating.
