Dilled Cucumber And Tomato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cucumber, thinly sliced
    1/3 c. vegetable oil (olive)
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3 large tomatoes
    Boston or leaf lettuce
Preparation
    Place cucumbers in shallow container.
    Combine next 6 ingredients in a small jar.
    Cover tightly and shake vigorously. Pour marinade over cucumber and chill 6 hours or overnight.
    Just before serving, slice tomatoes.
    Remove cucumber from marinade. Arrange alternating slices on lettuce.
