Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 lb. beef sirloin or round steak
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 (10 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    1 1/4 c. beef broth
    1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. sour cream
    egg noodles
Preparation
    In a 12 inch skillet over medium heat, saute meat and onions in 2 Tbsp. margarine until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir in soup and 1 c. of beef broth (reserving 1/4 c.). Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Add mushrooms. Blend remaining 1/4 c. of beef broth with flour. Stir into meat mixture; cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add sour cream and heat through. DO NOT BOIL. Serve over hot egg noodles.
