Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Minute rice
    1/2 c. water
    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. milk
Preparation
    Bring rice and water to a boil.
    Cover and let set for 30 minutes.
    Beat eggs until foamy.
    Add sugar, salt, butter and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Add milk and stir.
    Pour rice in 1 3/4-quart greased casserole.
    Pour the custard (liquid) over the rice.
    Do not stir.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake about 1 1/4 hours (350\u00b0) in a pan of hot water.
    Pudding is done when inserted knife comes out clean.
    Serve with Cool Whip on top.
