Black Pepper London Broil - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. London broil or top round steak (2-inches thick)
    2 1/2 tsp. meat tenderizer
    3 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1/3 c. beef stock or 2 beef cubes, dissolved in 1 c. water
Preparation
    Wipe steak with damp cloth and pierce each side with a fork. Rub each side with 1 1/4 teaspoons tenderizer and 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper.
    Heat butter and oil in large black skillet.
    Add steak and cook each side 12 to 15 minutes for rare, longer for medium. Remove meat and add stock.
    Heat about 2 minutes.
    Serve over meat.
