Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Dissolve
    yeast
    in
    warm
    water;
    set
    aside.
    Mix dry ingredients
    in order given.
    Cut shortening into dry ingredients. Stir in buttermilk and yeast.
    Blend thoroughly.
    Knead lightly. Roll it out on a floured board and cut out biscuits. Place on greased pan and let them rise slightly.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
