Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. shortening (margarine or Crisco)
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar together.
    Add eggs.
    Stir in flour; mix well.
    Refrigerate overnight or at least 3 to 4 hours. Roll into 1/4-inch thickness.
    Cut out cookies.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 7 to 8 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Let cool.
    Frost and decorate with sprinkles or whatever.
