Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
Preparation
    Sift together twice flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    Cut shortening into flour.
    Combine buttermilk and light corn syrup.
    Add to mixture.
    Mix well.
    Turn onto lightly floured board.
    Knead lightly with finger tips.
    Roll or pat to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut into desired shapes.
    Place on baking sheet and bake at 450\u00b0 for about 12 minutes.
