Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. diced fresh rhubarb
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Cook the rhubarb, 1 cup sugar and water together until the rhubarb is tender.
Keep hot.
