Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. low-fat milk
    1 c. dry rice
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. raisins or other dried fruit
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 Tbsp. butter (may omit)
Preparation
    Combine milk, rice, vanilla, sugar and raisins in a deep ovenproof dish.
    Sprinkle on nutmeg, dot with butter.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 2 to 3 hours.
    Stir once or twice in the first hour, once at the last 2 hours.
