Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except nuts.
    Cook until a soft ball forms in water (232\u00b0 to 240\u00b0 on a candy thermometer).
    Remove from heat and add pecans.
    Beat until creamy and drop by spoon onto wax paper.
