Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
1 c. clear Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Beat together first five items.
Pour into 9-inch deep unbaked pie shell.
Bake 1 hour at 250\u00b0, then 15 minutes at 275\u00b0 or until center is set.
