9-Inch Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
2 2/3 c. scalded milk
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
Beat eggs slightly, then beat in rest of ingredients.
Pour into pastry lined pie pan.
Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 15 minutes more or until a silver knife inserted 1-inch from side of pan into filling comes out clean.
The center may still look a bit soft, but will set later.
