Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. apple slices, cored and peeled
    1 c. sugar or 1/2 c. honey
    1 stick butter or oleo
    1 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
    1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine apple slices and 1 cup sugar in bottom of a 2-quart casserole.
    Mix butter, oats, flour, brown sugar and nuts. Sprinkle mixture over apples.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour until topping is browned and apples are tender.
    Serve warm, plain or with ice cream.
