Honey Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. quick cooking oats
1/3 c. butter
2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. honey
1 Tbsp. (scant) salt
2 pkg. active dry yeast
2 eggs
6 to 7 c. all-purpose flour
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 Tbsp. water
3 Tbsp. oats (ground)
Preparation

In
large
mixer bowl put cooking oats, butter, boiling water, honey
and
salt.\tCool
to warm.\tStir in yeast.\tAdd eggs and 2 1/2 cups flour.
Beat at medium speed until smooth, 1
to 2 minutes.
Stir in enough remaining flour to make dough easy
to handle.
Turn
dough
onto\tlightly floured surface. Knead\tuntil smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes.
(Add more flour as needed until dough no longer sticks.)
