Texas Style Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. boneless stew beef, cut into 1/2-inch cubes or 3 lb. lean ground beef
    1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped green bell pepper
    3 gloves garlic, chopped
    2 tsp. oregano leaves
    2 tsp. sugar
    2 (28 oz.) cans whole tomatoes (undrained), broken up
    2 c. water
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    8 tsp. beef flavor instant bouillon or 8 beef flavor bouillon cubes
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. ground cumin
Preparation
    In large kettle or Dutch oven, brown meat (if using beef, pour off fat).
    Add onion, pepper and garlic; cook and stir until tender.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cover; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 1 1/2 hours (1 hour for ground beef) or until meat is tender, stirring occasionally.
    Serve with corn chips and sweet pepper salsa.
