Tortilla Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    16 oz. can ranch style beans
    16 oz. can pinto beans
    16 oz. can whole kernel corn
    16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
    1 small can diced green chiles or 1 can Rotel
    1 pkg. Taco seasoning
    1 pkg. ranch dressing mix
    Corn tortilla shells
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and drain.
    In large pan, combine beef and onion.
    Cook until onion is translucent.
    Add remainder of ingredients-except tortilla shells.
    Simmer until done.
    Cut or tear 3 or 4 tortilla shells into small pieces and drop into simmering soup for last 5 minutes of cooking. You may have to add some water during cooking.
    This makes a Big Pot of Soup.
