Dill Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. canning salt
1 c. sugar
5 c. vinegar
7 c. water
Preparation

Heat ingredients to boiling, pour over jars which have been packed with cucumbers and dill, garlic and dried peppers.
It usually takes a couple pieces of garlic and 4-5 peppers to give it a good `bite'.
