Virginia Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. salt
1 gal. water
6 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. pickling spice
5 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
-
Boil and pour over pickles.
On fifth morning, reheat the vinegar solution; add 2 cups sugar and pour over pickles.
On sixth morning, reheat vinegar.
