Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb dried pinto beans
    2 tbsp cooking oil
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 c chopped onion
    1 lb ground beef
    2 1 lb cans tomatoes
    1 tbsp chili powder
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp paprika
    1 tsp oregano, optional
Preparation
    Wash beans, cover with water. Cook until tender. In skillet, heat oil and saute beef, onion and garlic powder till brown. Drain grease. Add all ingredients to pinto beans. Simmer 2 hours. Serves 8-10.
