Pasta With Broccoli And Garbanzo Beans - cooking recipe

9 cloves minced garlic
1 c. dry white wine
1 (15 oz.) can garbanzo beans (chickpeas), rinsed and drained
pinch of dried crushed red pepper
1 lb. gnocchi pasta or small shell pasta
1 stalk broccoli florets
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese (approximately 1 1/2 oz.)

To start this meal right, prepare an easy-to-assemble platter of purchased caponata (eggplant relish), Italian olives, roasted peppers and seeded breadsticks.
