White Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    3/4 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
    2 2/3 c. warm water
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    9 to 10 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 3/4 cup warm water, then add rest of water, sugar, salt and shortening.
    Beat in flour, one cup at a time, until smooth,
    Knead the remaining flour in on a hard, flour-covered board.
    Knead until smooth and elastic, not sticky. Place in greased bowl and let rise until doubled in size.
    Punch down and let rest 10 minutes.
    Divide into 2 loaves and place in greased bread pans.
    Let rise to double size again.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 until light brown, approximately 30 minutes, until bread sounds hollow when tapped on.
