Strawberry Fluff Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple (do not drain)
    2 small pkg. strawberry jello (can substitute orange jello, if preferred)
    1 (18 oz.) carton small curd cottage cheese
    2 (9 oz.) cartons Cool Whip
Preparation
    Heat pineapple until hot.
    Add jello; beat well and mix (do not boil).
    Remove from heat; let cool to room temperature.
    Add cottage cheese; mix well.
    Refrigerate until soft gelled, then fold in Cool Whip so that mixture is slightly thawed when folded in well.
    Spoon into clear bowl (should look mounded). Refrigerate.
