Scotch Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder (heaping)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar; add shortening and mix very lightly.
    Beat eggs until light separately and add to dry ingredients with milk.
    Mix slowly to the mixture.
    Roll out.
    Cut in 2 inch circles.
    Brush with milk.
    Bake at 425\u00b0.
