Cream Of Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. (12 oz. can) tomatoes
    2 slices onion
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine first six ingredients in a two-quart saucepan and simmer 10 minutes.
    Make a white sauce of butter, flour and milk and slowly add to tomato mixture, stirring constantly.
    Serve at once.
