Ingredients

1/4 lb. butter
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar in a small bowl until light and fluffy. Melt chocolate and add it with vanilla; beat until smooth.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes after each addition.
Pour filling into a baked 8-inch pie shell.
Chill until set, about 3 hours.
Spread with whipped cream just before serving.
