Freezer Coleslaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium cabbage (about 10 c.)
1 carrot, shredded
1 green pepper, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 c. vinegar
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. each: celery and mustard seed
Preparation

Combine vegetables with salt.
Let stand 1 hour.
Place remaining ingredients in pan.
Boil for 1 minute.
Cool; drain vegetables.
Add to vinegar mixture.
Stir gently.
Put in containers and freeze.
To use, defrost and serve chilled.
