Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. slat
    1 c. chopped nuts
    3/4 c. orange juice
    1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/4 c. oil
    1 c. raw cranberries, halved
Preparation
    Mix sugar
    with
    cranberries;
    let
    stand.
    Mix
    flour, baking powder,
    soda and salt and sift.
    Beat together orange juice, rind, egg and oil.
    Stir this into dry mixture, mixing just
    to dampen.
    Carefully fold in chopped nuts, cranberries and
    sugar. Spoon
    batter
    into well greased, wax paper lined loaf
    pan
    and let stand 20 minutes before baking in 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour. Test with toothpick.
