Mag Crump'S Shoney'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. strawberries, cut up
    1 1/2 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 pkg. strawberry jello
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Place strawberries in baked pie shell.
    Combine in saucepan water, sugar and cornstarch.
    Cook over medium heat.
    Stir until comes to boil.
    Continue cooking on low about 2 minutes or until clear and thick.
    Add jello, stir until dissolved. Pour over berries while still hot.
    Chill 2 to 3 hours.
    Serve with whipped cream.
