Ingredients

9-inch unbaked pie shell
6 c. thinly sliced apples
1/2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Put apples in bowl.
Mix with sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg and lemon juice.
Place apple mixture into pie shell.
Pat apples down evenly.
