Smoked Sausage And Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. smoked sausage
    4 to 5 medium potatoes
    1 medium onion
    1 small cabbage
    2 to 4 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
    paprika
Preparation
    Cut up sausage.
    Pare and slice potatoes.
    Place potatoes in large skillet.
    Slice onion and place in layer over potatoes.
    Add layer of thinly sliced cabbage.
    Add butter and salt to boiling water, stirring to melt.
    Pour over vegetables.
    Place pieces of sausage on top and sprinkle with 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
    Cover tightly and cook on low for 22 to 25 minutes or until vegetables are done.
    Sprinkle with paprika.
