Meatballs In Tangy Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/8 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 c. dry red wine or 1/2 c. water plus 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/3 c. potato, peeled and shredded
    1 small onion, finely minced
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, tomato sauce, lemon juice, garlic salt and wine; bring to a boil, stirring. Reduce heat and allow to simmer gently, uncovered, until sauce is thickened (about 20 minutes).
