Old Fashion Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
1 egg
3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. milk
1/2 t. vanilla

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add egg and beat well.
Add flour alternately with milk and vanilla.
Mix thoroughly.
Roll out dough on lightly floured surface.
Cut with flower cookie cutter.
Bake on greased baking sheet for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
