Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. butter
    1 c. sour cream
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
    flour to make stiff batter (approximately 5 c.)
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter; add beaten eggs and sour cream.
    Put soda and cream of tartar in flour and sift enough to make stiff batter.
    Add vanilla.
    Drop with teaspoon onto cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
