Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. oil
2 eggs
2 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. vinegar
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 oz. red food coloring
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift together flour, cocoa, salt and soda.
Combine buttermilk and vinegar.
Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat well. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk and vinegar mixture and beat well.
Add food coloring and mix together.
