Cheesy Beef-Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large green peppers, cut in half lengthwise
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. creamed cottage cheese
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 egg
    1/3 c. bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp. salt
    1 c. shredded process American cheese
Preparation
    Place peppers in 2-quart (12 x 7-inch) glass baking dish; set aside.
    Combine remaining ingredients, except shredded cheese, in medium bowl; mix well.
    Spoon meat mixture into green pepper halves.
    Cover with wax paper.
    Microwave for 24 to 26 minutes on Roast, or until meat is well done (about 140\u00b0).
    Top with shredded cheese and continue cooking on Roast until cheese is melted. Makes about 6 servings.
